Launch a new Ultra Running Magazine in to a saturated niche with well established competition, in a world where magazine sales are plummeting....impossible?
Thankfully the competition have remained fairly stagnant and haven't really adopted digital. Create THE destination on the internet for anything and everything Ultra Running related.
We built a fully responsive website enabling Ultra Runner Magazine to monetise the content on the site through tiered subscription options.
In the build, we included areas where advertising banners could be placed to add an additional revenue stream. We then created a Media Pack to aid the sales team to sell advertising space within the Magazine & website.
To help gain traffic to the website, we also integrated a race calendar with the ability for Race Directors to add their own events to the calendar free of charge.
We continue to design & produce a quarterly high quality 120 page publication including exclusive content not available online.
To maintain the brands green credentials, we use 100% recycled paper and environmentally friendly inks all sourced from UK suppliers.
Understanding the end user is vital with any website design project. Due to the nature of the sport, a 'Mobile First' approach was key, as the audience are always on the move. All the content on the website gets served as AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) to ensure they load as quickly as possible.
